For the golfer who knows they can play.

What does good golf
feel like to you?

You have worked on your swing. Let’s work on what happens in your head before it—and after the one you would rather forget.

01 / Find your sticking point

Where does your
round unravel?

Pick something that sounds familiar. This is a glimpse of what we could work on together, not a test you need to pass.

First-tee nerves · Club confidence · Recovering after a miss

Sound about right?

The first tee has acquired an audience.

You were hitting it nicely on the range. Now your grip has tightened and your brain has helpfully supplied six different swing thoughts. None of them asked for.

We could work on a short preparation routine: choose your shot, settle your attention and commit. You do not have to feel completely calm to play.

The work inside both programmes

Practical tools.
Built around you.

Open a chapter to see the areas we can work on. These are themes we cover, rather than a fixed script for each appointment.

01Find the pattern
We start with your golf: when it goes well, when it gets difficult and what you notice yourself doing. We agree what a useful change would actually look like.TAKE AWAY / A clear starting point and a practical focus.
02Prepare for pressure
Build a pre-shot routine that fits you. Make a decision, settle your attention and give yourself a chance to commit.TAKE AWAY / Your own preparation and pre-shot routine.
03Practise your attention
Explore imagery, focused attention and self-hypnosis where useful. You will have something to practise between appointments, rather than just something to think about.TAKE AWAY / Practical exercises to use between sessions.
04Get back after a setback
Work on what happens after a miss. Learn from it without carrying it around for the rest of the round.TAKE AWAY / A reset routine, tested in your own sport.
05Keep it going
Review what you have tried, adjust what needs changing and make a plan you can continue using independently.TAKE AWAY / A personal mental-game plan to take away.

03 / Less mystery. Actual sessions.

Meet George.
And his driver.

PGA Professional George Hewitt knew how to hit it. Picking it up was bringing a very different expectation. We filmed what happened when we worked on that.

The Brickendon Grange sessions

Not a highlight reel
of perfect golf.

There is discussion, imagery, eyes-open focused attention and a poor swing too. If you are wondering what hypnotherapy for sport actually looks like, start here.

One golfer’s experience. An immediate response during an exercise or an individual shot does not establish a lasting result or predict anyone else’s outcome. Videos open on YouTube; no video tracker loads on this page.

A different view of the same shot

The hazards are there.
So is your target.

Water left. Sand right. It is easy to give both your full attention. Move the slider towards the pin and watch what fills your view.

An approach to a golf green, with water on the left, bunkers on the right and a white flag aheadIllustration / choose where your attention goes
The whole shot → the pin

The water. The sand. The rough. Plenty to think about.

The course has not changed. Your attention has. In your round, assess the hazards and choose a sensible target first—it will not always be the pin. Then practise committing to that decision.

What working together feels like

Bring your game.
We’ll work
from there.

You do not need to arrive with the right words for it. Tell me about the round or shot that annoyed you, the moment you lost confidence, or the thing you keep doing even though you know it does not help.

01

We get specific.

“I need more confidence” is a start. What happens just before it goes? What do you say to yourself? What do you do next? That gives us something useful to work on.

02

We try something.

That might be imagery, hypnosis, a simpler routine or a different way of responding to a thought. I explain what we are doing. You can ask questions and say if something does not fit.

03

You take it back to your golf.

Try it, see what happens and bring that back. “It worked in the session but not on the course” is useful information, not a failed test. We adjust it together.

04 / Your next move

Where are
you with it?

You do not need to be sold to. You do need a clear way to take the next step.

Choose five sessions for £375, or eight sessions with two bespoke recordings and weekly check-ins for £675. Compare the two options, then book your first appointment. Cal collects the programme payment through Stripe when you book.

Still wondering?

Fair questions.

Do I need to have tried hypnosis before?

No. We talk through what to expect. You can ask questions, choose whether to take part and stop an exercise.

Do I have to be an elite athlete?

No. Recreational, club and competitive athletes can all work on mental skills. We start with what matters to you and whether this approach is suitable.

What if I am not sure it is right for me?

Book the free 20-minute consultation. Tell me what is going on, ask your questions and we can discuss a sensible next step.

Can we meet in person?

The booking links are for online appointments. Email or call before booking if you want to discuss in-person availability around St Albans.

What does the price include?

On session weeks, reviews happen during your appointment; between appointments, I respond with a short written or voice message within two working days.
